Another sector equally as important as the other two is the government. Governmental regulation of wildlife is a given in most countries. Rightfully so, however in developing countries, the government is stretched thin, and budgets don’t begin to put a dent in what is needed for most of these countries.
Grass roots field surveys, project eco-tour donations, field data reports, are some of the benefits local governments will receive from Project Green Jungle. In addition to these, governmental representatives will have the option to meet with other participants.
Ministry of the environment and energy (and now Telecommunications) mission is to contribute to sustainable development in Costa Rica through the conservation and wise use of natural resources, to improve the quality of life and development.
SINAC is the National System of Conservation Areas of Costa Rica. There are 11 areas represented by SINAC throughout Costa Rica. These areas are unique in their approach to conservation, trying to integrate and balance the needs of the State, Governance, Civil Society, Private Enterprise, and Country.
