Cobra versus Monitor Lizard

Video posted on Nat Geo shows interaction between the Monitor Lizard and a Cobra.  We have worked with monitor lizards before, and this is an accurate representation of what a ticked off monitor lizard will do to get in a punch.  Trust us, a whip like this leaves a BIG, BIG, welt!  This also shows something that should concern more citizens in Florida.  While burmese pythons are good for media, the varanid monitors loose in the state are much more of a threat to native wildlife.
