The Team

The team involved with Green Jungle comes from varying backgrounds. Because of the unique nature of our project and the programs involved, we rely on the individuals involved to form dynamic teams to maximize the impact of our activities.

Currently Project Green Jungle is represented in the United States by a core group of dedicated volunteers who oversee the development of the project.

In Costa Rica, we are represented by in-country participants, and pivotal volunteers. As a project of the Florida International Teaching Zoo, our program directors answer to the Board of the Teaching Zoo. Currently we have the Executive Director, Operations Director, Director of Field Operations, and Volunteer Director.

So far, the friendships and relationships we have developed while working in Costa Rica have been incredibly important. Not only has our organization gained a valuable team member, we have all grown personally. The In-country Participants are encouraged to act as liaisons between local communities and our project. We feel our project cannot be a success without an active community behind us.

Our Key Volunteers are people throughout the world who actively assist The Project in acheiving it’s goals and working within our mission, visions, and values.
